So, that whole blog-a-post-a-day in November didn’t work out so well for me.  Sorry.   It’s been a bit crazy here, but we are enjoying every single minute here.  Punky and Kirby had fantastic Christmas celebrations.  Since it was Kirby’s first Christmas, we were inundated with lots of generous gifts!  thank you to all!

I sit here on January 1, 2013, typing away before I head to bed.  I have to go back to work tomorrow, and to tell you the truth, I’m not that excited about it.  It could be that this is part of my “busy time” as we head into registration for 2013-2014 school year, transition the 8th graders out and our incoming 5th graders in…it could be that I have this whole de-decorating and putting away all of our gifts at home looming over me… it could be that I have so enjoyed not being “on” my whole entire break… but let’s face it… the real reasons I don’t want to head back to work….

Together, they make me feel complete.  A family.

And, ya can’t get any better than that.  That’s how I have spent my break.  With my boys.  And, I just am not quite ready to head back to work yet.
