How has almost an entire year passed since my last post…….ok….not quite – 10 months. Life sure does get busy these days…….but let me say that again…..LIFE GETS SO DAMN BUSY!

I am barely keeping my head above water as a teacher.

My kids are growing up way too fast, so I try to dedicate my evenings and weekends to family….

but then there is ALWAYS work to do for school…….

And my friends – I can’t keep up! I think of then often but feel horrible that we haven’t connected!

And my family!!!! I used to talk to my mom every day before she retired. Then I feel like I used to talk with her more……and now every time I call her I feel like I should be calling her more…….

My sister………I haven’t had a lengthy conversation with her in over a month! WHAT?!?!?! I used to talk with her all the time.

My brother?!??! I haven’t chatted with him for any length of time since we left IL abruptly at Christmas…Punky tested positive for COVID so we skedaddled back home as quickly as we could.

I feel connected to my own little family of four… but why is the world going so fast that I can’t keep up with everyone?!?!??!?!?!

I just keep plodding along…. but that never seems like enough…..there’s always so much more to do. I miss my peeps.

Phew……..I feel better already. I’m trying my best……and I have to be content with that.
