Path.

All day today, I debated between 2 photos. I had to listen to my quiet space today before I posted. 🙂

Today’s reading is from Proverbs 3:5-6…

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; and lean not on your own understanding; and he will make your paths straight.”

The older I get I truly feel that God puts people into our lives…on our paths…when we most need them. I really struggled when we had to find a new church home almost 2 years ago, but since then, I know this to be true. God knows who we need and when we need them. We are not alone on this journey.

I struggled between 2 photos for today – one being a photo of the bike path that we ride during teh summer. I absolutely love our family bike rides! But, the photo that one is one that I repeat in my head over and over when I need to look back and feel when God was with me.

This was November 2013. At WIlliams Tree Farm, where my family has been going for Christmas trees and various greens most of my life. I snapped this photo after I walked away from the group briefly and walked down this path. It was so beautiful! I felt such peace in the craziness of the holiday prep season.

I knew God was there with me. I took this photo as I breathed in the fresh air around me and was filled with peace and love.

To this day, when there is snow on the ground, I look to the trees and breathe in the air to find my quiet center.

Let me know what you’re thinkin’!
