Like I wrote yesterday, water is my fuel for my quiet spaces. There’s just something about sitting on shore watching the rhythmic lapping of waves. There’s something about listening to the stillness surrounding you. There’s even more in noticing the wonders of nature around you. Whether I am noticing the ripples on the surface, the sand and rocks around me, or the birds flying above, my heart is just so happy near water.

Whether it be an ocean, a lake, a stream, a pond, a river, or a puddle, I am certain to find nourishment for my soul.
