So, last weekend I was introduced to Scout & Cellar wines. They are clean wines. As a person who has been losing weight and trying to adapt healthier habits into the family, I was all ears.
Their wines are all made from hand picked grapes. They have no added sugar, chemicals, or other icky ingredients that find their way into mass produced wines.
At the tasting I attended, I fell in love with Bookbinder – a Red Blend. It’s fabulous and has only 2-3 grams of sugar PER BOTTLE. Without the added icky stuff, your body processes it differently than mass produced wine because your body doesn’t have to process any icky stuff before it processes the alcohol. So, slow sips of yumminess.
Of course I fell in love with this bottle as it turned out to be $58 a bottle. 🙂 I try not to have expensive tastes…..it just happens sometimes! 😉
I splurged and ordered one bottle last weekend.
This weekend, my name was entered in a drawing and I won a free bottle of Bookbinder! It was delivered to my door this morning.
Then, I read that today’s word is vineyard, AND tonight is date night! So, a very simple entry tonight.
God’s love is pure like my Bookbinder wine. It doesn’t need any additional ingredients. This bottle we are opening tonight was FREE! God’s love is free. Your body when you accept God’s love doesn’t have to deal with the icky stuff. God’s love is all encompassing. There are no conditions placed on God’s love for us.
Tonight’s prayer from the Lenten devotional: As followers of Jesus, we try to weed out the sour grapes in our lives. We do not like being pruned. Yet, we treasure the care you have for us and the love you give us. You envision the best for us. Help us produce good grapes so that we can live our best life and tend to those whom you’ve placed in our care. In Jesus’ name. Amen
Good night! I am off to watch a movie with my Hubby! Be blessed!
