Today, we went to the Minnesota History Center to renew our membership; check out the Suburbia exhibit, which ends tomorrow; and spend some quality time together. It was fun to walk around and hear the boys giggling and getting excited about the exhibits.  The photos I snapped above are of Punky and Kirby playing a memory game with the retro symbols (animals) used on the parking lot signs at the various malls in the Minneapolis area.

After spending nearly 3 hours there, we decided to head out to grab some lunch.  We decided to visit Chris & Rob’s in St. Paul since it was just 2 miles away.  This location is housed in an old train car.  Punky loved the Chicago Style Hot Dogs and Kirby loved taking in the pictures of Chicago!  (“That’s where we were last year, Mama!” Anything in the past to Kirby is “last year.”)

After shopping for groceries, eating dinner, and completing some homework, we are ready for some popcorn and either more state basketball games or a movie.  Not sure yet.

Good night!

Melissa
