Today was a busy day in our household. FIRST, FLAG FOOTBALL… (that would be three f words)

Punky had his 1st and 2nd scrimmage this morning.  It was hot and humid.  The kids were pretty tired out after the games.  Here are a few (I’ll let that one slide through and not count it…) photos from the morning:

After the games we had a restful afternoon.  Kirby took a nap; Punky watched a movie; I worked on transfer IEPs (Can I get a collective, “Oh yay!”); and Keith worked in the garden picking tomatoes and went grocery shopping for us.  (When he does the shopping, our Aldi bill is MUCH lower than when I do the shopping!)

This evening, we had our date nights again.  Hubby with Punky and me with Kirby.

Kirby and I hung out and played; tickled; cuddled; and then ate dinner right before BATHTIME.  I swear that kid is part fish. (That’s number FIVE) He loves bath.  Loves splashing……and I do mean L-O-V-E-S splashing!  He is a riot!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So, now here I sit until the boys come home from the game… I thought I’d update the ol’ blog, maybe write a transfer IEP or two more, and then veg out on the couch.  This Mama has had a L-O-N-G week!

Been thinking a lot about getting my butt in gear and kicking this weight off me…I have at least 40 (Can I get a SIX!) lbs to lose…How appropriate right before my 40th.  (Number SEVEN) Hmmmmmm.  I think I’m onto something…. Hmmmmm.  The wheels are spinning.  Stay tuned…
