This happened on Sunday morning, but I haven’t had time to blog about it.

Punky knew that Hubby was upset by the selling of the cabin.  So, Punky woke up, bolted downstairs panting, “Mama, Mama, where my project from Sunday School?  The heart pocket one…”

I had no clue what he was talking about, as every week he brings home a whole stack of papers and projects between daycare and Sunday school.

Luckily, I started digging in his bag from church, and there it was.  His heart pocket.

I held it up, and he grinned the biggest smile I have ever seen.

“Mama, good!  Miss Jenny said that when people are sad, I need to give them a heart from my heart pocket to help cheer  them up. So, I give Dada one.”

and he trotted off to give Dada his heart…

which read…

My sweet boy.

That is very very cute! What a lovely idea! Although I get the feeling that just the fact that Punky was thinking about Dada would be enough to cheer him up
