Our cat, Charlie, turned 14 this July.   She is a long-haired cat, who has recently started having issues with keeping herself clean.  She had HUGE, baseball-sized, mats on her back.  I could not brush them out or cut them out.  So, our only option at that point was to give her a lion cut.  Have you seen a cat with a lion cut?  It’s hilarious! (and costly since due to her age, we had to go through the vet, and due to her temperament, she had to be anesthetized).
