Life right now – the bulleted edition

Here’s what’s happening in my part of the world:

  • I can’t believe how fast Punky s growing up!   It’s insane!  I keep having these “moments” where I am in udder disbelief at how much he has grown, how  much he knows and where the time has gone?   This morning as I pulled him out of his car seat to go into daycare, I just wanted to kidnap him and take him back home and snuggle up….all day.  I wish I could stay home with him!  I feel like I am missing so much of his life while I sit at school trying to help other kids with their lives… frustrating.   I just need spring to come.   This weather has been crappy and depressing as all hell!
  • I am loving Harlan Coben books right now!  His writing is so detailed, yet fast, and yummy!   I just devour his books these days!
  • I am loving our DirectTV!  (So is Punky!  He asks every day on the way home from daycare, “Momma, what you record today for me?“)  I love DVR-ing (Did I just use that as a verb? Actually, a participle?)
  • I know God works in mysterious ways…but I am really wanting to have another baby! (I REALLY want three kids, but hell at this point, I’ll take what I can get!)  This month ended my CRAZY abnormal cycles.  I am starting on Clomid later this week to help me regulate my cycles … and God-willing get pregnant soon!  All of my fingers and toes are crossed!  (Little scared of clomid though…..heard you can be just an outright BITCH on it….so people, brace yourselves!)
  • Stayed up last night to watch Letterman annihilate Blagovich.   It was so worth being tired today.
  • I am loving my Wii Fit!  I try to get on daily.  It’s been great to do, plus we have made it into a family activity, so Punky enjoys some of the games too!   If we’re not doing WiiFit together, we’re playing MiniGolf or Baseball on Wii with Punky!   He loves those!
  • Hubby has NOT left the dome light on at all this week!   🙂  Yay!
  • Punky and I made it to the library the other night.  He just loves to get new books.  I only checked out 2 for me; and being as though I am already into the 2nd book, I think we’ll be heading back soon!
  • I am so behind on wishing people HAPY BIRTHDAY!   So, a HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY to my cousin, Dawn and to my S-I-L Brenda!   Hope you gals had great days!
  • I am off to pick up Punky from daycare… and just eat him up…I just love this age!
  • I’ll leave you with a few pics of him enjoying his root beer float last night!

    I hear you on wanting to haul the little buggers back home instead of handing them off to someone else. I know your pain all too well (and then I wish I was a teacher, so I could have a summer off with my guy, too!).

    DVRing is great. We have Dish and love it!

    My kids loved the library too… me too.. Best of luck with the pregnancy stuff… it is so hard when the desire is so deep!

    I hope you get pregnant soon, I know how frustrating it must be. While not exactly trying for ages, I remember when we were trying for Maggie, the disappointment each time we got “the news” that we had failed. Still, it’s best to be glass is half full about it and say that it is all the sweeter when it comes.
