Ever have one of those moments where you just can’t believe you are living life….and you’re just so overwhelmed with peace and happiness?

I sat at the little kid table at Caribou Coffee this morning after I had some blood tests.  There I sat with Punky.  We were splitting a bagel for our breakfast; he had kids’ hot cocoa; and I had a coffee.  We were sipping our drinks; I was wiping the cream cheese from Punky’s face; and he was humming along to Christmas carols and proudly wearing his Santa hat.

And there I sat in awe of the moment.   Thanking God for all that is in my life.

I love these moments. They usually happen as Little Dude spoons oatmeal into my mouth, while I spoon oatmeal into his mouth. Pretty sweet.

It is a great feeling, when you suddenly wake up to the fact that you are in the middle of one of the best moments that life has to offer.
