Yes, it was 38 degrees (Fahrenheit) here yesterday morning.   By mid afternoon, it fell below zero.   And that’s where we are hanging out again today.  BELOW ZERO.    Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Our forecast:

Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around -19. Wind chill values between -23 and -28. West wind between 7 and 10 mph becoming calm. YES, YOU READ THAT CORRECTLY—— TEMPERATURE OF -19.  WINDCHILLS -23 – -28.  UGH!

Tuesday: Snow likely, mainly after noon. Mostly cloudy and cold, with a high near 4. Wind chill values between -20 and -30. Calm wind becoming east southeast between 4 and 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of around an inch possible.   WOW!  WE’LL MAKE IT ABOVE ZERO!  YIPPPEEEE!  BUT THAT WINDCHILL.   YUCK!  AND SNOW!  I HATE WHEN IT SNOWS AND IT’S SO COLD!  IT’S LIKE PINS FALLING FORM THE SKY.  SHARP LONG PINS WITH THE PEARLIZED HEADS.  AGAIN – UGH.

Tuesday Night: Snow likely, mainly before midnight. Cloudy, with a low around -2. Wind chill values between -7 and -12. East southeast wind around 6 mph becoming calm. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of around an inch possible. MORE SNOW—-BUT WE’RE CLOSE TO ZERO AGAIN!   A FEAT!  😉

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 8. Wind chill values between -4 and -14. Northwest wind between 3 and 6 mph.  EIGHT DEGREES!   FIND MY SHORTS!

Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around -1. Light north northwest wind.   I GUESS SINCE THE WIND WILL BE ‘LIGHT” NO PROJECTED WIND CHILLS!

Thursday: A 50 percent chance of snow, mainly after noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 17.   TOO BAD IT WON’T BE SUNNY!   I COULD WORK ON MY TAN!  17 WHOLE DEGREES!

Thursday Night: A 50 percent chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 6. I WANT A SNOW DAY TOMORROW.

Friday: Partly sunny, with a high near 16.  DOESN’T LOOK TOO PROMISING DOES IT?  LAST DAY OF SCHOOL UNTIL JANUARY 5, 2009!   ARE WE EXCITED OR WHAT?!?!??!

    When we lived in Alaska, when it got to about 20 degrees people would start wearing shorts.

    I’d BBQ outside until about 20 degrees; colder than that the charcoal wasn’t hot enough to cook the food.

    I’d check the mail at -20 barefoot and in shorts, as long as I didn’t stop running I’d be okay.

    I like snow. Its supposed to snow again on us tomorrow, I think. I’m hoping!
