Too busy to write much, so here you go… a few Christmas questions to ponder….

1. Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate?
Hot Chocolate……. I love it!

2. Does Santa wrap presents or just set them under the tree?
Sets them under the tree and in our stockings.

3. Colored lights on tree/house or white?
I love white lights…..lots of them, but we do colored lights on the living room tree.  I have white lights on the tree in the kitchen.   And Punky has colored lights on his tree in his bedroom.   OH NO!   I AM TURNING INTO MY MOTHER!!!! 😉  (Mom used to have a tree in every room of the house while we were growing up…it was gorgeopus.   Now, she’s cut back significantly, and it’s still gorgeous, just more manageable for her and Dad now that the kids are gone.)

4. Do you hang mistletoe?
Nope.   I don’t have any.  Mom always had it when we were little, but I don’t have any.

5. When do you put your decorations up?
Ummmm……when I have time.  This year, they are going up slowly in stages.   I drag out a box or two; decorate; then a few days later drag out another few boxes and decorate.   I’m still not done yet, but it’s more manageable than dragging ALL the boxes out at once.  It’s a bit less overwhelming too

6. What is your favorite holiday dish?
Green Bean Casserole!  🙂  I love it!

7. Favorite Holiday memory as a child:
Lying on my tummy with my hands propping up my chin on the floor in the dark family room listening to Christmas carols, watching the manger scene under the lighted tree and hearing Mom cooking dinner.

8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa?
When I had my own child.   😉

9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve?
Lots of them!

10. How do you decorate your Christmas Tree?
Eclectically with ornaments from my childhood, new ones we’ve gotten as gifts, and ones I have bought for us.  Anything that means a lot to us goes on the tree.

11. Snow! Love it or Dread it?
I like it from the inside of my house.   I hate being out in it, unless it’s “warm” out and snowing bug chunky flakes…..then I LOVE being outside!

12. Can you ice skate?
I did when I was younger!  I loved it!  I couldn’t wait to get home form school and ice skate on the pond behind our house.

13. Do you remember your favorite gift?
I’ve gotten a lot of really nice gifts, but I think my favorite was a picture of my grandpa in a frame that sings “What A Wonderful World..”

14. What is the most important thing about the Holidays for you?
Being with family

15. What is your favorite Holiday Dessert?
Anything off my mom’s cookie trays! I love Anise Cookies, Holly Candy, Magic Cookie Bars, Pecan Balls, etc….

16. What is your favorite holiday tradition?
Making Anise cookies in mom’s kitchen the weekend of Thanksgiving.

17. What tops your tree?
A star

18. Which do you prefer: giving or receiving?
Giving

19. What is your favorite Christmas Song?
Silent Night and Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s A Christmas Canon

20. Candy Canes! Yuck or Yum?
