Do you tweet?
I do. Come follow me...here!
What? You don’t know what Twitter is? It’s a microblogging community where you log in and answer “What are you doing?” You can follow your friends and anytime they post (or Tweet) you get updated on what they are up to. It’s a super quick way to communicate, entertain, and vent!
Why do I like Twitter, you say?
Twitter lets me update my facebook page when I am at work. (So many things that happen (and I want to comment on) during a day happen right in my classroom!) (Gee, I wonder why they block facebook at a middle school?)
Twitter also lets me follow my bloggy friends around the country. Most of them are pretty funny, so a tweet from them when my day is crazy usually makes me smile. 🙂 Who doesn’t want to read about a toddler mishap, a recipe gone wrong, a crazy trip to the community center with 4 kids in tow (Ages 3,2,1, and 3 weeks), a frustrated teacher, crazy business world issues…… It all puts life in perspective… and reminds you of what really is important. (or not importnat in some cases!)
Twitter helps me stay connected to some of my friends from years past… without having to write emails or posting on walls (like on facebook).
Twitter helps us stay sane in the middle school classroom. It’s uplifting to know that Suzy down the hall wants to pull out her hair today too!
Are you on Twitter? Get to it!

Let me know what you’re thinkin’!
