I remember getting gas when I lived in LaCrescent, MN in 1999 for 90 cents a gallon. How the hell did we get to $3.69 a gallon today?
Ugh.

I, too, remember gas under a dollar. Rare, but it happened. I also remember when it jumped to $1.25 at one point, and I thought that was a bit steep.
Oh No! Are we getting old? “I remember when……” LOL!
Count your blessings ….it is $4.39 for regular at Wabash and Roosevelt and not too far behind that in the Chicago suburbs!!
the gas for dad’s car is $4.69 a gallon!!!

As we pay £1.20 ($2.00-ish?) a litre (yes, a litre) here in England, I’d like to swap, please!
Yeah, I remember a gas price war in Oklahoma City where some gas got down to $.89 or $.90 in the late nineties.
The gas station in my wee bitty town jumped ten cents from yesterday. It’s up to $3.79 and I’m on fumes. 😦 Thankfully I’m almost done with carpooling! 🙂
