Man, has my blogging gone to pieces as of late! It’s time for me to “KETCHUP” with all of ya in the blogging world! 🙂

My mom and dad were here last weekend to visit. We had a nice time I love when they come up here. Punky loves spending time with them. But, Hubby acts differently when they are around, so that makes me uncomfortable at times. I can’t figure out why this always happens when we’re around my family, but it always does… whether we are in Chicago or up here in Minnesota.  Anyway…Thanks Mom and Dad for the fun visit!

Life at school has been crazy. February in Minnesota SUCKS! It’s so damn cold! The kids are crawling the walls….. and so are some of the teachers for that matter!

I survived my dental appointments to get my crown! In fact, my last appointment this week was to a) get my crown and b) have a cavity filled……and I survived WITHOUT any nitrous oxide! 🙂 I usually always get the gas to help me relax and not gag…. but since dental appointments have become fairly routine for me the past few weeks, I am A-OK in that chair with my mouth wide open!

I entered Punky’s name and photo in a contest for a free photo shoot at a local photographer’s studio. Yesterday, we got word that they wanted to do a photo shoot with him, so when I called today, I set that up. We have about a 45-60 minute session with them. He’s supposed to wear a white t-shirt and jeans. We can bring a few other clothing pieces if we want, or use things at their studio. 🙂 Exciting! I love all of the local studios in our area, but they are all so expensive! I’ll keep you posted!

I had my first AtHome America party last night. It’s the first party I’ve done since I was pregnant with Punky! It was fun to get back into it! I also created a bingo game to play with the guests that tok me forever to make, but it was fun. I posted the game on the AHA website for other HomeStyle Specialists to use…I must have emailed over 100 copies so far!

While I was giving the party at my friend’s house, Punky threw up at home. I’m glad I was out of the house! 😀 Ick. I returned to my car after the party and found that I had missed 7 calls from home! WTF? That freaked me out as I thought something terrible had happened. Turned out that Punky was just sick. He slept through the night and had kept his dinner down, so he went to Kelly’s today and so far has been fine. (The kicker..earlier in the afternoon, Kelly and I were talking and I said something like, “Knock on Wood, Punky hasn’t thrown up since December 2006…” AND I REALLY KNOCKED ON WOOD!) Freaky…

This weekend, I’m scrapping with some of the gals at our house. I can’t wait to get going on some more of Punky’s pages. (Hey—nice alliteration, there!)

Hmmmmmmm.

1. I hate abhor spiders. They even freak me out when I see them on those damn Fear Factor commercials…..in any of Punky’s books, or the gross disgusting record books I have in my classroom to “hook” my 8th grade boys into reading. Eewwwwwww!
2. Freud would have fun with me. I ALWAYS have a mint, lifesaver, on me at all times! Also if I leave the house I have a bottle of water in my purse or bag, too! Ya just never know!
3. I have a punny sense of humor (which my brother never has learned to appreciate….but that’s okay, Mikey….I still like you a latte!…..ok, maybe it’s more……Olive you!!!!!! ) LMAO!
4. I am abstract random. Can you tell? Maybe that’s just a polite way of telling myself I have ADD and should deal with it. My mind is always going……in EVERY direction. I often forget what the heck I was doing…
5. Where was I? Oh, yeah, a meme…….. I have a tattoo which I got on Leap Day in 1996 with my bud, RC. It hurt like a hell….but someday I want to get another one.
6. I am an exceptionally fast reader……… and I love to read! (But most of you know that!)
7. I have a bowl fetish. I absolutely love my AHA heirloom bowls! 😀 I can’t wait to get some of the new ones!
