football.jpgWell, my team had no chance of returning  to the Big Game this year. *sniff* *sniff* (I still love my BEARS though!)

I was kind of (I can’t believe I am about to type these words…..)  hoping for Green Bay to win so that Brett would say “Goodbye!” after this year. No such luck, now. BUT, how cool would it be for Eli Manning to win a Superbowl ring the year after his brother (you know……..the evil one who trounced on MY BEARS last year!) won one last year. Just a thought…

I used to feel bad for New England, but that stems from WAY back in Superbowl XX (My dad still has this game on VHS…..wanna watch?) when MY BEARS trounced on them (46-10 for all of those who don’t recall). I felt badly for them that they played so poorly in THE big game! I thought that must have been embarrassing! But, today, the Patriots are the frickin’ Yankees of football. Lose a game, will ya! And for God sakes, don’t cheat! And Randy Moss……. ick.

I’m a bit depressed at our loss, but really want the Giants to beat the cheaters, I mean Patriots, in the Superbowl, now…

And, we don’t wish for Brett to retire, even when he had an off game…

    Thank you!

    Lois —Thank you!
RC—-he is getting older…..and will retire……..(Hopefully sooner rather than later!) LOL!

Not so old, and very, very, very easy on the eyes (and easy to like, for that matter, when you see his personality shine through).

I know, I know, I know he will retire – just trying not to think about it.

I can’t stand Eli. IMHO, he should never be able to wear a super bowl ring (unless he swipes Payton’s when he’s not looking). Talk about entitlement issues. A rookie coming straight out of the draft and REFUSING TO PLAY for the team that drafted him. What arrogance. I don’t care who your daddy and big brother are, its time to prove that you can play at their level!!!

I was actually hoping that the Packers would send him on his way, but I’ll be more than happy to watch the Patriots finish the job.

Let me know what you’re thinkin’!
