Ok, so I have been laxed with doing this each week for awhile…….

Here it goes:

TOPIC:  Thirteen items on my calendar right now:

  1. My brother Mike’s Birthday (TODAY)  Happy Birthday Mikey!   (ok, he is my little brother, but I don’t think he still appreciates the “Mikey”….)
  2. Two IEP meetings tomorrow morning for kids on my caseload.   One at 7:45 AM and one at 9 AM.   Ugh.   (This makes IEP #4 and #5 for this week!   I LOVE SPECIAL ED PAPERWORK!)
  3. A Night out with the Girls on Friday night—–we (KellyJo, Cole, and Yours Truly) were supposed to be scrapping, but Cole is leaving for a week out of town the next AM, so we decided to go out and chat instead!)
  4. New Tires on my mini-van on Saturday Morning at 8 AM!   (Obviously, Hubby made the appointment….I see it as a sin to be awake at this hour on a Saturday!)
  5. A Tastefully Simple Party at my house on Sunday afternoon.
  6. Another IEP meeting on Monday morning at 7:45!
  7. Alpha Class at church on Monday night—the last one!  Next week (11/26) is our Celebration Dinner!
  8. Head to Chicago on Tuesday evening for Thanksgiving!!!!   😀   I am excited!
  9. Breakfast with Grandma Knock-Knock (or my mom) on Wednesday morning.  Mom and daughter bonding time!   😀
  10. Thanksgiving Day Dinner at my Grandma’s house.  Punky has been talking about this all week.   This is when he gets to see “GREAT grandma!”  (He shouts the GREAT and whispers the grandma!)
  11. The Annual Family trip to the Christmas Tree Farm  next Friday!    We’ve been going for YEARS (Since I was a young kid……..I don’t know, maybe 25 years?)
  12. Making my great-grandma’s recipe for Anise Cookies.  Every year Hubby and I make these for my mom and dad at their house.   When I was growing up, we did it as a family……mom was usually busy decorating the house….and dad would help us with the cookies.   I took it on when I moved away for college…. but I always do it at their house ! 🙂  Smart girl I am!
  13. Celebrating my sister’s birthday with her while I am home in IL.   (Her b-day is December 1st).

Wow!   Lots to look forward to!
