On Thursday, we woke up and got ready for the day.  Punky enjoyed feeding the ducks with Grandma…like he does every day that we are in Chicago!  🙂

Mom and Dad wanted to take Punky to the train station and watch the trains come in.  So, we piled into the car and headed over to the Palatine Train Station.    When we got there, Mom bought tickets for us to board teh train and take it to Des Plaines where we would go to the Choo Choo Restaurant.  Here are a few pics of Punky at the train station, on the train, and at the restaurant!

Enjoying “Coffee” while we wait for the train…

“Bacca” and Punky waiting for the train…

Punky “in motion”…as we wait for the train…

Mommy and Punky watching the scenery go by…

The Choo Choo Restaurant! A 1950’s Diner where your food is delivered to your table by model train!  It was really neat!

Wow!   (A REAL HOT DOG AND CHOO CHOO!)

Waiting for the next train so we can go back to “GWandma’s and Bacca’s” house!

Later that day, we went to thebowling alley and watched Mom and Dad bowl on their league the are on with my Aunt Laura.   It was nice to visit with Grandma during bowling…and Punky loved running around with his partner in crime…..his cousin!

Thursday was a fun, nice, relaxing day….stay tuned for more Chicago adventures tomorrow!

My sons would think they had died and gone to heaven if a hot dog was delivered by a model train. We are sooo going there the next trip home! 🙂
