I’m going to try to get back into blogging about life here in our corner of the world………I’m sick of meme-heaven……and having no energy to write….

Today, Hubby went to the lake with his dad and his brother to bring in the dock, paddleboat, lift, and shut off the water.  Punky and I called up KellyJo and went to Auntie Em’s bookstore in Minneapolis with KellyJo and Corey.  The kids loved it… we got books, “Coffee” (a banana-strawberry smoothie for Punky) and got to see some animals!   Punky and Corey helped feed the guinea pig and watched the bearded dragon eat its crickets!   It was a cute little place…nice and cozy.  Punky picked out a pumpkin book for himself.

After the bookstore, we headed over to Chris & Rob’s for “Hot dogs & Choo Choos).  Punky once again devoured 2 hotdogs, 2 pickles, and loads of french fries along with his milk.  It was nice to spend time with Kelly and Corey, too!

After our adventures, we headed home for Punky’s nap.  I cleaned out parts of the downstairs in hopes of making enough room down there to someday resume my scrapping dates with the gals!  🙂

After naptime, we called Corey to see if he wanted to go to the “Choo Choo” Park with us.  We picked him up and headed over to the park to play.  The boys had fun!   My friend, Art, was in town and headed over to the park to see us.   We stayed a little over an hour and then brought Corey home.

Hubby was back from the lake, so the three of us and Art went to Moonrock for dinner.  It was DELICIOUS!   I had a chicken breast stuffed with crabmeat and asparagus, a baked potato, and delicious green beans/carrots sauteed in garlic!   It was phenomenal!

Art came back to the house and showed us pictures of the home he and Linda are building in Virginia.  It’s beautiful!

Punky went to bed…kind of…he needed a “second attempt” tonight before we completed that mission!

My cousin, Kimmy, got married today back in Illinois.  It bothered me all day that I wasn’t there…but I’ll be there Wednesday – Sunday this week!   😀

I am off to bed!
