It’s FRIDAY!

So, i’ve been gone from the blog a few days…sorry about that!  🙂    I am reading a fabulous book that I just can’t put down at night……therefore I am in bed reading instead of downstairs online!

If you haven’t read it yet, read The Time Traveler’s Wife by Audrey Niffenegger.   It’s mesmerizing!   I am not done with it yet…but so far I give it two thumbs WAY UP!!!!!

Life here has been putzing on as normal….but just a bit slower.   It just seems like it takes a little longer to get things done these days… I guess we’re still healing.

Today, it’s been 20 years since Grandpa Hill passed away.  I remember it like it was yesterday.    Be sure to read about that day here.

One month ago today, Hubby’s mom passed away.  It’s been tough trying to get back on track…

    “I’ve been reading” is the best possible excuse someone can have for not answering the phone, letting the mail stack up, kenneling the animals or allowing the quack grass to over run the lawn. I find it very reassuring as an author that the Internet doesn’t seem to be killing reading at all, can’t say how many posts on books and reading I’ve come across in just the few minutes I’ve been net-trawling.
