So, I woke up this morning and decided it was going to be a JEANS day……since it was a gloomy, pouring rain kind-of-day.  I pulled on the jeans I picked up this weekend at Coldwater Creek.  I HAVE NEVER SPENT** $70 on a pair of jeans before…but DAMN…I had a little bounce in my step this AM!   Now, I know I’ve read about people’s insanely expensive jeans, but what’s the most you’ve ever paid for jeans, and can  you REALLY tell that they are expensive, or is it all in our heads?

**[Correction, I didn’t actually PAY for these jeans either.  When we were going through my mother-in-law’s closets, her sister and my sister in-laws fit into her clothes, so almost ALL of her AWESOME clothes (most were Coldwater Creek) were taken by someone in the family.   However, being as though I am much taller and bustier than she was, I  didn’t get any of her nice clothes.   We did come across a new outfit she had bought from Coldwater Creek for her vacation in Nashville, TN, but it still had the tags on…she never wore it.  Later that weekend, I came across the receipt for that outfit, so I was told to go pick out something for myself when I returned her outfit.  It was a hard afternoon walking around there looking at everything, and I felt terrible that I was there because my mother-in-law was now gone.  As I walked around and around, I thought to myself that I’d like to have something comfy and useful instead of dressy and useless since I’ll ALWAYS remember where and when I got it.   So, I settled into a pair of jeans (which I am proud to say are my 1st jeans that aren’t falling off of me due to the weight loss!) and a denim jacket.  I love them!]
