My mom and dad just left this afternoon.  They came up from Chicago to visit us and help us out.  THANK YOU!

I just wrote out 40 some thank you cards for memorials and flowers for Mom S’s funeral.   There are a whole lot more to do…but I did make a dent in them!

Dad S called and asked us if we’d like to go to the lake tomorrow.  😉   So, of course, we are going.   It’s going to be hard, as that was Mom’s favorite place…but since we’re gathering as a family, it’ll go ok.

School starts on Tuesday, and I’m not sure what I am doing…I guess that’s where my 11 years of experience will help me get through the day!   😀    Seriously, I will have to do some planning tomorrow…..maybe in the car!   This is what they call, “Winging it!”

I am off to bed……..we’re tired!   Have a great Labor Day!

    We thought of you all weekend and wondered if you would go to the lake. That was a great idea. Hope it was a good healing and relaxing visit. Continued prayers for you all. Have a good day at school today, I know you will do great! The kids are lucky to have you.
