I haven’t been up to much lately….just immensely enjoying my summer with Punky! I feel like I have been stuck in “Weekly Meme Land” as of late…so I thought I’d write a REAL post tonight before I head to bed.

Kelly Jo keeps telling me when we visit her on our “Daycare Day” how “smart” Punky is for his age.

The boy can definitely communicate…and if he doesn’t know the word, he makes up his own way of communicating the concept.

For instance, the “Sign” he uses below is one he made up to mean “Turn it around” or “Upside-down.” In the photo, I caught him “mid-sentence” as he usually has his hand turned down in a “flick” like a swan’s head. Now he adds the word, “’round” when doing it….

In this picture, he was telling me that my camera needed to be turned around….as I was taking the picture “portrait” style instead of “landscape.”

I don’t know about the “smart” thing…..but I do know that this boy cracks me up daily!
