so……………I have been logging into my email account all day and checking the delivery status of MY grandma’s (not to be confused with Punky’s grandma’s chaotic gift issue described in the previous post) Mother’s Day flowers…and nothing has changed on the UPS tracking since Thursday morning at 12:30 AM! Tonight, I sat down and called UPS, and the automated person told me that my package was on its way. I no sooner than set the phone back down on the desk, and it rang. Proflowers. Somehow UPS screwed up the shipping label on the flowers and some nice person kindly called Proflowers to inform them that they had received my Grandma’s flowers. WHAT?!?!?!? Am I jinxed this holiday weekend?????? SO, Proflowers apologized PROFUSELY, but it’s not their fault, so I didn’t get mad at the nice gentleman who called me. [In fact, if ANY Of you are looking for a new florist…..Proflowers is AWESOME and their customer service is top-notch! Which you can’t find that just ANYWHERE these days!] He refunded my money and recommended their partner Florist Express so that Grandma could get her flowers before next week! Florist Express was a bit more expensive than what I could afford, so I hopped over to 1800Flowers and ordered a smaller bouquet [without the free vase that Proflowers always throws in] plus delivery and it should get there tomorrow. Actually, I chose tomorrow, but a kind gentle prodding message popped up and asked if I could be flexible in my delivery for the sake of the holiday….so I clicked. “Yes” [Even though I have a feeling this too might come back and bite me in the ass……I am just not having a good day with gifts!] So, Grandma BETTER get these flowers in time for Mother’s Day! Once again…………..I had everything timed out perfectly……and ordered EARLY…….and I get slapped in the face! 😛 Damn Shipping labels!
I think I need a glass of wine!

Let me know what you’re thinkin’!
