So, I decided since I would be home tonight with Punky by myself we would tackle making Grandma Knock-Knock a Mother’s Day card together! Wow! What a process!!!!
After dinner, I decided to get the bath tub ready for AFTER painting. When I went upstairs, Punky melted for “Mommmm-eeeeee”I said that I was going to be down in a minute and we would paint a picture for Grandma Knock Knock. Yikes! I can’t even describe how excited he got! He started saying something that sounded like “paint” over and over again while I got the paper, the towels, the paints, and the camera out. This picture shows us “warming up” to fingerpaints… Punky loved it…….and then he thought he’d paint himself too!
Then, I was trying to squirt more paint on the paper, and the blue paint decided to come SQUIRTING out at the speed of light! It went splattering across the table, on the table, on the paper, and knocked down the paper plate I was using for the paints……and of course (Murphy’s Law, folks) IT LANDED UPSIDE DOWN! To make this even better, Hubby is still standing there getting ready to leave…….as a cat comes over to sniff the blue mess on the floor [I was waiting for blue paw prints around the kitchen…..but to no avail]. Of course, this makes Punky say “Oh Oh!” over and over as he points to the blue blobs everywhere! We get this cleaned up, and start painting again. Hubby leaves to go to his meetings at church.
This time, Punky decides decorate his head and hair, his chest, his jeans, and the paper.
Then he gets REALLY CREATIVE!
