How fast can you type?
quickly, but not accurately! I detest the word “the” as I always type it “teh”

What is your favorite online game?
I like Bookworm, Bejewled, Euchre, and Strike-A-Match when I am at home. When I am at school (on lunch of course!) I like Eric’s Solitaire”Eight off.” It’s so addicting!

On a scale of 1 to 10 (with 10 as highest), how intelligent do you think you are?
a 7  or so

Main Course
Name three of your best teachers from your school years.

  1. Mrs. Olson (elementary school- grades 3 and 4) She and I share the same birthdate, and I think I REALLY wanted to become a teacher after I had her as one!
  2. Mr. Freund (high school English) I loved this man! People who screw up grammar always annoy me, and they annoyed him too! He really taught me how to STRETCH as a writer and helped me understand texts like Beowulf and Sir Gawain and the Green Knight (ick) plus The Modest Proposal and Gulliver’s Travels!
  3. Dr. Rocco (college professor and my advisor -Special Education) I loved Dr. Rocco too, but I was really intimidated by him when I first started college…….before my 4 years were up, I knew he was just a great big teddy bear with a heart the size of the world! Dr. Rocco taught me most of what I needed to know to get a job as a special education teacher. But, he taught me more than just the paperwork and legal stuff…..He helped reinforce the notion most of us teachers have instinctively to help the underdog and make those connections with kids!

    Happy Friday~
I was impressed with your Main Course. It’s great to rememeber those who made a difference in our lives. Teachers no tnot get the recognition they deserve.

    Have a lovely weekend.

Let me know what you’re thinkin’!
