Thirteen Reasons I am Looking forward to SUMMER – when I can:

  1. Spend LOTS more time with Punky
  2. NOT HAVE ANY LESSON PLANNING
  3. Not listen to whining 8th graders
  4. Have easy-Going mornings
  5. Enjoy Lazy “Naptime” afternoons
  6. Be outside in the sun
  7. Garden
  8. HAVE NO MEETINGS!
  9. Eat breakfasts and lunches with Punky
  10. Go to “Play dates” with my friends and their kids
  11. Spend weekends at the lake
  12. Have more sunlight hours!
  13. Listen to the birds in the morning!

Only three month left for summer, yes!!!
Listening to bird, while sunbathing and reading, is the thing that makes me so unpatient for summer to arrive.

Last summer, we all realized at about the same time how hard it was to make playdates happen; everyone was off on vacations and schedules had been thrown so far off, it was really hard.

Hopefully, we’ll do better this year. Nothing like spending summer days with good friends.

    Happy TT!

It sounds like you are ready for your summer break.

Wishing you happy days between now and then – and happy, peaceful days all summer

Sounds nice. It seems like summer already to me. But, you’ll be off from school. I’m sitting here now listening to my grandson work in the yard. They are all out for Spring break. One of his brothers has been to FL and already back as of yesterday. His older brother and sister are there with friends until Sunday. He chose to come here and work and make himself some money! HE is the saver in the family.

    Check out my TT.

Oh wow, I am so ready for summer, too. And for No More Whining!

Happy TT! Only two more months-ish!

Hmm, maybe I should be investigating open positions in teaching instead of ISD 😉 I’d love to have a summer vacation 1/2 as good as the one you’re anticipating.

Let me know what you’re thinkin’!
