It’s been crazy around here as of late. I haven’t been feeling too well. Punky has been sick. Last night was horrendous! Poor Punky would SCREAM at the top of his lungs if he wasn’t being held and rocked to sleep. Hubby took off from work today and brought him into the clinic… Poor Punky…….a double ear infection! …and we’re flying to Chicago on Friday evening. Poor guy!

Work is work. Busy getting my 8th graders ready for high school registration…

Reading a great book with my class…Inkheart by Cornelia Funke. The movie comes out this spring. I am hoping to take my students there! I did that with A Series of Unfortunate Events a couple of years ago…and I always prove the kids that the book is always better! They hate when I am right, but I have never found that to not be the case…

Tomorrow is the big day…I enter into another odd year. For awhile there, I had a theory that all of my odd years were terrible, so I just dreaded them. But, since I got pregnant & had Punky in my last odd year, I am focusing on breaking that mindset!

I am off to bed…I think I may be up again tonight!
