Today was an ok day…..nothing earth shattering. I was a bit late this AM as I needed to stop and get some sinus meds for my sinus headache I’ve had the past few days. I finally got rid of it today! YEAH! Plus, Punky was being cute…….so that always slows me down!

He just loves riding facing the front in his carseat now. He just watches EVERYTHING I do while I drive. He also watches for trucks, busses, and motorcycles while we are in the car. He seems to like those. He’s such a typical little boy….

I did a cool assignment today with my kiddos. They had to make posters with their spelling words written like ransom notes. So they were busy digging in newspapers and magazines all hour trying to find cool letters for their posters. Sure beats writing the words 10 times each! (Not that I EVER make my kids do that useless assignment…I’m just making side comments!)

I was kinda looking forward to vegging in front of DAYS OF OURLIVES this afternoon during my lunch, and I turn on NBC to see President Bush. That bummed me out. (I won’t even go into the indegestion I then had! I keep trying to listen to that man speak, but he drives me nuts!)

Stayed afterschool today to paint a poster for my colleague’s baby shower. We painted a Nemo mural for the backdrop to the food table. It’s pretty cute!

Punky Boy had a rough night——he slipped on the rug under the sink in the kitchen and smacked face down into the floor—-he had a bloody nose and an oozing lip. Poor guy. He’s better now. He was pretty tired today and kinda clingy (both before & after the kitchen incident)………. I wonder if those molars are making their way here………

Tomorrow night, I am having a Stampin’ Up party—-just some of my girlfriends are coming over to make cards. $20 and the lady brings all of her supplies and sets up stations to make different cards and then you go through and make 15 cards! Not bad! People are coming over at 6:30 PM.

I am off to bed………been a long week at school. too many deadlines and projects and way too many irons in the fire right now! It’ll slow down for me next week! THANK GOD! (The end of and beginnings of quarters during the school year are always crazy times!)
