i am exhausted today… spent another 13+ hours at school yesterday – a full day of teaching and then 5 hours of conferences. Got home, and I thought Hubby was going to leave us! He looked exasperated from little boy’s teething tribulations (and lack of going to sleep!) I quickly changed my clothes and sprawled out the sleeping bag on the floor of the nursery. Punky only slept if he was held. So, after 1 1/2 hours of calming him down, he finally fell asleep. I put him down on the floor next to me and covered up. We slept for about 4 1/2 hours before he woke up screaming again. Ugh! More Tylenol and more Baby Oragel and Punky thought it was PLAYTIME! He wanted nothing to do with sleep… needless to say, I feel back to sleep and was awoken with Punky handing me my glasses! He had crawled across the room and brought them over to me. I guess that was his way of telling me to get up. I FINALLY got him back down after all the screaming…..at 5 AM! He slept for 45 minutes…..then was u p for the day! He screamed all morning the second I put him down. I tried brushing my teeth with him on my hip……nearly impossible!

I called up daycare and offered to buy her a coffee this AM as I was sure she was going to need it to get through today!

My kids are writing in their journals now and are starting to get antsy…..so I better go…………
