long day……i was very tired from yesterday and from being up several times in the night with Punky. 😦 But it is so fun to cuddle with him in the chair and have him fall asleep in your arms…… it’s just not fun multiple times a night for multiple days! * Grin *

school/work was ok. it’s time for the book fair, so the kids all wanted to go down and “preview” the selection before we actually head down there tomorrow. (I think they just want more time out of class! It hasn’tbeen THAT long since I was in junior high! Ok……who am I kidding……it’s been 18 years!) But, have kids really changed in that perspective…….I think not! (Now in other ways………they’ve changed drastically! But that is for another days’s post……)

I left school with the bell to race home to pick up Punky. I was feeling a bit guilty as a mom… I had conferences last night and tomorrow night and then I had hit that “Get rid of my hair now” stage this morning, so I scheduled a cut, color and brow wax for tonight. Arranged for my mother-in-law to come over to watch Punky as Hubby had to be at church. So, I spent 2 hours with Punky before I had to fly off to the salon for some severely needed “Mommy-time.”

Colored my hair……got rid of that summery highlighted natural brown color and hit the red again…with caramel high lights. Left the length but got rid of the weight! I swear my head feels 50 lbs lighter! My hair is so thick!

Got home awhile ago and logged on here to write. Talked with my bestest friend from childhood today…we’ll call her LEON! (Hehehehee!) I wish we were closer, but I love the fact that we can talk as little as we do, and yet it feels like we never stopped talking! We just pick up where we left off!

Also spoke to my brother…he cracks me up! Thanks to him, I now have the cool George W Link on the right….a countdown to the end of his office and the cool Philosophy Over COffee link which is actually written by a friend of my sister-in-law. They were in seminary together. Cool…..I didn’t get a chance to read a whole lot, as my eyes are getting very sleepy! So, I put it to teh left so I remember to check it out more!
