Rough night…Punky would not sleep! I went in his room around 1:30 AM and rocked him and walked around with him…(He’s not very light these days!) and then we settled on the floor….I was trying to snuggle up with him and try to catch some Zzzz’s myself. He rolled around and scooted around the floor before FINALLY falling asleep for awhile. I then fell asleep for 1/2 hour or so when he woke up again! I rocked him and put him down again before crawling back into my own bed at 4:10 AM! UGH! So, when the alarm went off, Hubby got up, took a shower and took Punky boy over to Caribou Coffee to surprise me with my favorite drink…..Large Skim, Sugar Free Iced Turtle Mocha. 🙂 Mmmmmmm.

Today we went to Lake Koronis for the day. We left the house and were 10 minutes into our trip before we remembered we forgot the stroller, so we turned around and went home again. We then ventured out again. Punky boy slept for 1/2 hour in the car while I worked on a Sudoku puzzle. We got to the cabin and no one was home, so we fed Punky then met up with the in-laws at the Assembly Grounds for the 85th Anniversary. We took a tour, watched a video, and ate lunch (not necessarily in that order), visited the gift shop and then headed back home. It was a nice day.

The specialness of today…..Today would have been Grandpa Hill’s 79th Birthday! Happy Birthday Grandpa……I miss you LOTS and think of you often! I brought Punky to the cemetery last time I was home so he could “meet” you. I love you….
